How much is the program?
In response to the international COVID-19 crisis, we have reduced the cost to $5,000 for the 2022-23 program year. Many internship programs cost significantly more. This $5,000 includes housing, food, all conference expenses and tuition for the four seminary-level courses accredited by Reformed Theological Seminary.

When does it start?
The program begins the first week of September and ends the last week of May.
How do I apply?
How do I raise the money?
Most of our Fellows fund raise the cost of our program. We will provide step-by-step guidance and coaching on how to raise your funds, as well as fundraising materials to send to your friends and family.
Are there scholarships?
There are a very limited number of scholarships for financially challenged applicants.
Will I be able to get a job in my field?
That is the aim of the program. We work with dozens of area employers to try to match your particular gifts and training with their specific needs.
What are the long-term benefits of doing Fellows?
More than half of Fellows graduates end up starting their career at the place where they did their part-time placement. Fellows receive special scholarships at several graduate schools and seminaries and are highly sought after by employers in a number of professions. The change in who you are and the bigger view of God and his mission will change you in more ways than can be itemized here.

How many similar fellows programs are there?
As of 2019, there are 26 fellows programs across the country that are connected to The Fellows Initiative, the overall coordinating body that guides the development of this unique ministry. You can learn more about TFI by visiting their website here.
will i earn college credit through peninsula fellows?
Each semester, the Fellows will be enrolled in two two-credit hour courses for a total of four courses through Reformed Theological Seminary. After completing the program, Fellows will have the option to take advantage of a tuition discount through RTS to pursue one of their degree programs.
